If you can’t find the answer you are looking for here, do not hesitiate to get in touch
How will we know when you are coming?
We will contact you by email, SMS text or phone call usually the week before we visit. If the date doesn’t suit please let us know.
When should I cut my lawn?
Your lawn can be cut any time before a treatment is done but please don’t cut your lawn for 3 – 4 days after a treatment to allow the treatment work. You don’t want to cut it off!
Should I water the treatment in?
It is not necessary to do this as we use a specially coated fertiliser which doesn’t scorch your lawn however if you would like the treatment to work quicker leave it for 3 hours and then you can water it.
Is it harmful to pets or children?
Our treatments are not harmful however we do ask that you stay off the lawn for 1 hour after the treatment to allow the weed killers to dry.
What height should I cut my lawn at?
The rule of thumb is that the shorter you cut your lawn the more stress you put it under, and we feel the optimum cutting height is therefore between 20 – 25mm.
How long before the treatment works?
Normally a fertiliser starts working in 14 – 16 days and weed killers within 7 days however these are very weather dependent and if it is too cold, they will sit dormant until the weather temperature is suitable.
Do I have to be home when you carry out the treatment?
No, as long as there is access to your lawn you do not have to be home and we will put a note through your door to let you know we have been.
How do I pay?
Some customers choose to pay annually or monthly whilst others pay after each service is completed. All the details of how to pay are on the invoice.
